How can I help my child?

One of the most important things we do in third grade is start to move from learning how to read, to reading to learn.  It is a big transition.  The best thing to help your child with this transition is to READ!  This includes your child reading on their own, reading to you/sibling/stuffed animal/pet, and you reading to your child.

We will be using Reading Logs for students to record their time spent reading at home.  Students should read about twenty minutes, five days a week.
